Safe Visiting Guidelines

Though the mall is reopening, this is not a return to normal. We ask that you support the following guidelines for your own safety and that of our community:

If you are sick DO NOT visit: Visitors are not allowed to enter if they are ill or have any COVID-19 symptoms. If you are unsure, please use Manitoba’s COVID-19 Screening Tool: https://sharedhealthmb.ca/covid19/screening-tool/

Physical distancing: Visitors are required to maintain a strict two metres of physical distance from one other. No more than 5 people may gather in any common area. Gathering size is subject to change in accordance with Public Health Orders.

Limited points of entry: All customers are required to enter and leave through designated access points.

Line up: The mall and individual tenants will ask visitors to line up outside before entering and will enforce a one-in, one-out rule when at capacity.

Mall walking: Mall walking is currently not available.  Loitering is not permitted, and you may be asked by security to move along.

Active Shopping: We ask that visitors plan their trip, and only enter the mall if they intend to shop.  Loitering is not permitted, and you may be asked by security to move along.  When using mall seating, please give priority to seniors who may need a brief rest, and  people with mobility issues or disabilities.

Follow all signage: Abide by all directional and guideline signage throughout the mall.

Use hand sanitizer and wash hands: Ensure you clean your hands regularly and properly. Hand sanitizer is available at entrances and exits and throughout the mall.

Use cashless payment when possible: Cashless or no-contact payment should be used when possible.

Food service: Sitting or standing at counters is not allowed unless a separation of two metres between groups is maintained. If seating is being used, a distance of two metres is required between tables. Drink refills are not allowed. During peak times, due to limited seating, we ask you to limit your stay to approximately 20 minutes while patronizing food tenants, to ensure enough seating is available for all patrons.

Steps We are Taking for Your Safety

Here are some of the ways we are working to keep our visitors, staff, tenants, and community safe:

Reduced Occupancy: We will follow public health orders in regards to occupancy limits.

Reduced operating hours: We have reduced operating hours in order to maintain these enhanced safety initiatives.

Strict Sick Policy: Reinforcement of strict sick policies with our administration employees and our contractors.

Increased cleaning: More frequent, and deeper cleaning and disinfecting of common space surfaces, washrooms, and other areas.

Safety signage: Placement of signage and visual reminders about physical distancing measures throughout common areas.

Hand sanitizer stations: Installation of hand sanitizer stations throughout the mall and at points of entry.

Strollers and mobility aids: Renting of strollers, scooters, wheelchairs and walkers from Guest Services is suspended. Visitors and staff can still visit with their own.

Protective barriers: Installation of personal protective barriers at Guest Services and the Food Court tray wash station.

Washroom measures: Increased frequency of washroom checks to ensure they stay clean and well stocked with soap and paper product. In addition, we have taken measures to ensure washrooms can meet physical distancing requirements.

Food service measures: When in use, surfaces such as tables, chairs and booths are cleaned between customers. Condiments, napkins, etc. are not self-serve and are available upon request. Drink refills are not allowed.

In the food court, all orders will be packaged "to go" - trays are not in use.

During peak times, due to limited seating, we ask you to limit your stay in the food court to approximately 20 minutes while patronizing food tenants, to ensure enough seating is available for all patrons.

Seating density: Reduction in the number of seats and dispersed common area seating.

Curbside pickup: Creation of dedicated curbside pickup areas to reduce the number of people required to enter the property.

The safety of our customers, employees and the public are our priority. We continue to monitor the situation closely and to work with our tenants at a national and local level to update our response as new developments occur.
